You are welcome at First United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon.

We look forward to visiting and worshiping with you and your family. Make plans to worship with us on Sunday morning. There are 3 worship services - Traditional at 8:30 & 11am in the Sanctuary and Contemporary at 9:45 in the Family Life Center. The dress is casual. You will find visitor parking spaces on the north entrance to the church. Come early for fresh coffee, juice, and/or light snack and friendly fellowship with others at the Crossroads Coffee Corner when you arrive. Small Groups meet at 9:45 and 11am. Childcare is offered for all worship services. The church has a mission of outreach and service to the community, congregation and beyond. There are many opportunities of service in FUMC and in the community. Come experience the love of God in fellowship together.
